Originally from the Dominican Republic, Penélope spent her formative years in Richmond, Virginia. She studied business, hospitality and tourism management, psychology, and marketing.

She earned degrees from Idaho State University and Brigham Young University-Hawai'i. Each community Penélope found herself immersed in offered unique perspectives and opportunities for self-discovery.
